When should I use your Emergency Pet Ambulance?

You may need our service if:

  • Your pet is injured, unwell, or unstable

  • Your pet is too large, distressed, or painful to move safely

  • You do not have access to transport

  • Your vet or out-of-hours provider is far away

  • You are too distressed to drive safely

Your veterinary team will advise if emergency transport is appropriate.

Can I travel with my pet?

In most cases, yes — subject to space and safety. Please mention this when booking so we can make arrangements.

How do I pay?

Payment is taken when we arrive by either cash or card payment unless Included on your vet’s invoice

All pricing will be explained clearly before transport.

Is your service just for emergencies?

No. We provide:

  • Emergency and urgent transport

  • Planned or non-emergency transport

  • Referral and inter-clinic transfers

  • Discharge transport for mobility-impaired pets

  • Compassionate and end-of-life transport

Do you offer compassionate or end-of-life transport?

Yes. We provide discreet, caring transport for:

  • Pets travelling to the clinic for euthanasia

  • Returning pets home afterwards

  • Collection of deceased pets from your home to your vet

These services are offered at fixed prices wherever possible to reduce stress at difficult times.

Are you recommended by vet's?

Yes. After Dark Ltd works in partnership with veterinary practices and is often recommended when safe, professional transport is required.
